At KELT we rely on volunteers to help us care for our lands and engage community members. We have many ongoing and one-time volunteer opportunities spanning a wide range of activities and interests. You can volunteer by yourself or with your friends.

We look forward to working with you! If you would like to know more about what we have to offer, you can email Charlie at: cthompson@kennebecestuary.org, call the office at: 442-8400, or drop by 92 Front Street in Bath. We would love to get to know you.

If you haven’t joined in on counting fish, you have to try it!

Water Samplers:  Help to monitor the water of the estuary in Georgetown and Phippsburg to gather data about water quality and raise awareness about this areas valuable natural resources.  Find out more here.

At Events

For KELT events are an important way to meet new people, appreciate those we already know, and to become more involved in the community. We have a variety of events throughout the year, and we would love to get you involved:

Party Planning: Help plan or host a party to inform friends and neighbors about the work KELT is doing.

Event Assistant:  Help us set up, greet, and clean up an event such as our spring stewardship series, annual meeting, summertime membership event, or fall lecture series.

Photographer: We ALWAYS need someone to capture the moment at our events, if you don’t have a camera but are interested we can supply one.
