Wilderness First Aid Course

Wilderness First Aid Course

Join KELT and Courtney Cronin of Wild Maine Med for a two day Wilderness First Aid Course (includes SOLO WFA & CPR). The training is open to any land trust and conservation organization staff - seasonal or full time. This would be a really great opportunity for summer stewardship staff, summer camp staff, interns, etc. if there are open slots we will open the training to volunteers, and then the general public.

About Courtney of Wild Maine Med: I am a Wilderness EMT, SOLO Wilderness Medicine Instructor, and experiential educator with over 20 years of experience leading outdoor-based and international travel programs. I did my first WFA course when I was 14, got Wilderness First Responder certified at 18, and EMT certified when I was 20. I have worked on a 911-response ambulance here in Maine, trained and certified well over 100 indigenous women in Guatemala in First Aid and CPR, and certified over 100 people in the last 6 months in Wilderness First Aid.
