Graduate and undergraduate student teams of planners, designers and artists from University of Maine at Augusta, Maine College of Art & Design, Northeastern, University of Virginia and UMass Amherst spent the fall 2025 semester engaging with the communities of Bath and Harpswell. Through an iterative process of researching, developing and creating, teams proposed responsive solutions for vulnerable sites and challenges, which are now on display at select venues throughout the towns. Join the Envision Resilience team and its partners for a conversation on the design and community engagement process and explore the catalog of innovative architectural and landscape designs tools and concepts that emphasize nature-based solutions like green stormwater infrastructure, address challenges like housing through materiality and circular economies and reimagine infrastructure and transportation systems in a low-carbon future.
This program is part of a continuing series of Bath Climate Conversations focused on learning, discussing, and connecting around ways to sustain and support our vibrant town as climate change occurs.
Hosted by Bath Climate Action Commission in partnership with KELT and the Patten Free Library and presented in person and on Zoom. Recordings of these programs will be posted in KELT’s Virtual Learning Library.
