These apps not only help communities find and identify any bird in the world, they are also incredibly important resources to scientists all across the globe as the data uploaded in an ebird list is used to track bird populations and migrations, helping with species conservation and management plans.

This program comes right at the start of the global "Great Backyard Bird Count", that runs from February 13th-16th, so this is a great program to attend if you would like to be prepared for identifying and seeing as many species as possible. We hope to see you there.
