Plant Walk at Merrymeeting Fields

Join Aviva Elliott, Environmental Education Steward and experienced botanist, for a peaceful stroll through the woods at Merrymeeting Fields preserve. Learn how to identify native plants, hone your observational skills, and enjoy the beauty of this diverse preserve. Together we will gain a deeper appreciation for the delicate ecosystem that surrounds us by celebrating the unique characteristics of New England’s native plants.

Where: Merrymeeting Fields Preserve, Chops Point Rd, Woolwich, ME 04579

When: Thursday, July 30th, 4:00-5:30pm

This walk will feature a diversity of habitat through meadows, woods, and shoreline. We will move at a leisurely pace stopping frequently to observe our surroundings. Registration is limited to 12 people. There is parking available at the trailhead
