Jumping Worm Mitigation Volunteer Session

  • LOCAL Garden 63 Lemont Street Bath, ME, 04530 United States (map)

Help us remove invasive jumping worms from the LOCAL Garden before the beds are put away for winter! Jumping worms are an invasive species of worm that is currently spreading in Maine. These worms, which were recently found at the LOCAL Garden managed by KELT, have the potential to significantly and relatively quickly alter natural ecosystems and lead to the dramatic loss of native plants and wildlife. Read more about jumping worms on our latest blog post.

Please note that space is limited to 20 people and we ask that you strictly abide by the precautionary measures that will be in place to prevent any spread of this invasive pest.
