Explore Merrymeeting Bay Bike Rides

Join us to explore the Bay and learn about Merrymeeting Trail!

Merrymeeting Trailblazers, Merrymeeting Wheelers, and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust are hosting the Explore Merrymeeting Bay Bike Tour, visiting the farms, and exploring the scenes of Open Farm Day. There will be options for both a 12 and a 25 mile ride. Both rides leave from Mailly Waterfront Park in Bowdoinham at 10am. They will start out visiting farms along Brown’s Point Road and Pork Point Road, and will then head north to a farm along Route 24. The shorter ride will head back on 24 to the park. The longer ride will continue up to Richmond and circle back to Bowdoinham, visiting one of Bowdoin's newest farms and finishing with a visit to a diversified livestock farm. Or you can create your own ride and explore the farms and studios at your own pace!
