#LoveKELTtrails

We love that trails connect people to one another, to nature, and to themselves.

Share why you #loveKELTtrails!

This past year has reminded us of the value of consistencies in everyday life. For many, one of the most important consistencies has been that of the outdoors. Whether you need a space to exercise, explore, or just enjoy the fresh air, trails will bring you there.

KELT has 25+ miles of trails for you to enjoy all year round. With the outdoors playing a new role for many, we are honored to keep them open no matter the season so that our friends and neighbors can always #LoveKELTtrails.

We're looking to highlight how trails have impacted folks throughout the pandemic - are they using them for the first time? More frequently? Differently with new activities? With a new level of appreciation?

If you’d like to share a photo to accompany and illustrate your story, we’d appreciate it! Email info@kennebecestuary.org. JPG files are preferred. The words and images would be used as a part of this year's #loveKELTtrails theme and highlighted on our website, social media, and print publications with credit to the author(s).

As the pandemic narrows our choices of places to engage with the world and people, we have turned to spending a great deal of time walking and adventuring in new places as a way for us to be out and about while being safe. We have taken some time here and there to visit the nooks and crannies of lovely spaces in our region that we often drive by many times a year. Now they are places that are part of new memories and experiences in nature.
