Good Food For Bath
Good Food for Bath is passionate group of advocates that meets with the goal of creating healthy solutions for a better, well-fed community.
The Sharing Table
Wednesdays from 3pm-6pm starting August 22, located in Library Park.
Pay what you can, take what you need.
The Sharing Table will be an opportunity for anyone to pick up some homegrown produce collected by the Merrymeeting Gleaners from our local farms and the LOCAL (Leading Our Community in Agricultural Learning) Garden. It will run through the fall, when the harvest is most bountiful. There will be no questions asked and no income criteria for anyone taking produce. Any donations will go towards the LOCAL Garden and the Merrymeeting Gleaners so they can continue their efforts to provide more healthy food to the community.
Thank you to Six River Farm & Goranson Farm for the veggies!
This collaboration creates the opportunity for different organizations with similar goals to connect and discuss the problems they face regarding food insecurity and inequity. In addition, it provides a platform for support between community organizations to continue to work on these convoluted issues.
