In 2016, KELT began to manage the LOCAL Garden in south Bath. The garden has an expanded mission: to serve as a nearly year-round, edible-demonstration garden, with projects and programs to benefit adults and children.

Become a LOCAL Garden Volunteer
Join a Wednesday Workday crew…each Wednesday starting June 12 at 8am. Help our Garden Coordinators care for the garden, learn gardening tips, and share your gardening tricks!

July 27: Raised Bed Gardening Demo and Pest Control
August 24: LOCAL Garden Quick Pickling Demo
September 7: Make Your Own Skin Salve Workshop
$5 suggested donation for each event to cover the cost of materials.
Students in the Garden
Student groups are invited to visit the garden for a class field trip in the spring, summer, or fall.
