KELT Receives Easement on Hamilton Preserve in West Bath

KELT is accepted into the Maine Land Trust Excellence Program -
This grant-based program, valued at up to $18,000 over three years, supports trainings and consulting designed to increase operational quality and sustainability as we prepare to apply for national accreditation through the Land Trust Accreditation Commission.

Grant awarded for Whiskeag Trail -
The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust (KELT) was recently awarded a $4,800 L.L. Bean Maine Land Trust Grant to further construction of the Whiskeag Trail, a 5-mile trail from the Bath Area Family YMCA to KELT’s Thorne Head preserve.
